These front and backyards had to be completely redone after a fire at this east-end home. Our clients wanted a large deck with a shaded area to entertain large groups of family and friends, in fact, they hosted a wedding here in Fall 2018. A large L-shaped low profile deck complete with inset LED lighting and a shade sail was built for the entertainment area. Large existing natural rocks were repurposed in the gardens and the outline of one was carved into the deck for an organic look. Sod, low-maintenance gardens, a flagstone path to the shed, and a large planter box for veggies were also included in this project.
The new front curb appeal includes a modern square cut flagstone path, simple gardens and a tree, sod, a natural stone retaining wall along the sidewalk, and a shared side gate. Both front and backyards are complete with a sprinkler system to keep the gardens thriving and low maintenance.
